For Those Who Love Real Hip Hop

Written by Valerie_ Reno    Tuesday, 03 July 2007 08:47    E-mail
This hip hop show was awesome, plain and simple. I attended two of these Sage Francis shows, one in Austin, TX while on vacation, and one in San Francisco, CA, 3 hours from Reno where I currently reside. I was originally going to do this show review on the Austin, TX show, but I wasn’t too satisfied when I saw all these artists in Austin.

Hatebreed Show Review

One word: Hatebreed. Before I left Reno, NV for a nice, week long vacation in San Antonio, TX, I never expected that my most favorite band in the world would be playing two days after I arrived. Having heard this months before my trip, I purchased tickets immediately so not to rely on tickets at the door, selling out, and the chance the my friend in Texas and my own boyfriend could get me in for free

Bonnaroo 2007

With a wide variety of tunes, comedians, shops, to-dos, people, and well, drugs; Bonnaroo 2007 was kick ass experience for all. There are a plethora of words that I can use to explain my experience, but I don’t believe that combining them all would give proper credit.

Several months ago, I spent a few moments in the drum room of Echo Room studios, squished behind lead singer of The Breathing Process John Lafreniere

Northwest Hardcore is pretty legendary with bands like Champion, Trial, Blue Monday, Stay Gold, Go it Alone and many others. You can add one more band to the list of kick ass NWHC bands and that band is Never Looking Back from Tacoma Washington.
